Job Description

Overview

Monday thru Friday; 40 hours week

  • Perform a variety of duties required to operate machines and maintain the work area in a neat, orderly and clean condition.
  • Stocking the machines and removal of finished parts.
  • Performing specified quality assurance operations. This includes use of various measuring instruments and gages.
  • Assuring that all parts moved from machines are correctly identified as to lot number, count and conformance to specifications of blue prints, gauges and function.
  • Maintaining lubricants and coolants for each assigned machine.
  • Assisting in the continued function of all scheduled machines when other Operators are on break or engaged in repair of machines.
  • Remove or install tooling, covers, etc. under supervision of Toolsetters.
  • Leave machine well stocked for following shift.
  • Report any problems, difficulties, or unusual circumstances to the Toolmaker, Toolsett...
