**Machine Operator**

This role involves operating manual machining equipment to produce steel sprockets, gears, and related components. You’ll start on an engine lathe boring steel parts, then train on additional manual machines as you grow. The job requires mechanical aptitude, daily measurement work, and comfort in a high‑volume production environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate an engine lathe to bore centers of steel parts
+ Run manual machines such as lathes, broach machines, presses, and drill presses
+ Use micrometers and calipers to verify part accuracy
+ Record measurements and production data
+ Perform light machine maintenance and apply coolant
+ Operate an overhead crane for heavier parts
+ Support high‑volume production and maintain workflow
+ Follow safety procedures in a loud, manual machining environment
