Job Description
Engineer, Commuter Facilities Management Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain commuter facilities such as linkways, pedestrian bridges, underpasses, footbridges and bus/taxi pick‑up/drop‑off shelters to ensure safe operation for the public at all times.
- Prepare tender specifications and supervise commuter facilities inspection/maintenance contracts, ensuring on‑site safety requirements are met and performing quantity and quality audit checks on works on site.
- Review construction drawings and provide professional advice to developers, consultants and other government agencies on development submissions and projects related to commuter facilities maintenance.
- Handle feedback from the public, other government agencies and private developers, and incorporate it into facility management.
- Maintain GIS map layers and related programs for inventory management of commuter facilities.
