LPN On Campus Nursing

Salary ranges from $20 to $22 per hour based on education and experience.

Position Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care and intervention under the direction of a registered nurse to ensure that the health care needs of individuals receiving services are met. Assist individuals receiving services, as needed, in their day to day activities providing instruction and assistance as necessary.



Principle Duties and Responsibilities:


+ Assumes all of the responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

+ Provides support to DSPs and Registered Nurses for the medical care of students. Observe, record and/or report change in physical or mental health status to RN.

+ Responsible for passing medications and providing prescribed care under the LPN scope of practice as required (wound care, IM shots, read PPD, etc.).

+ Reports to program RN for all medical issues and guidance.
