Role and Responsibilities


Administer practical nursing care to patients in accordance with physician’s orders under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.





Essential Functions


Under the direct supervision of a n RN Case Manager , and within the scope of practice for a L icensed P ractical N urse:


+ Provide health education according to the teaching plan established by the RN.

+ Provide routine LPN nursing care as outlined in the nursing care plan and within the scope of practice for an LPN.

+ Observe signs and symptoms , and report patient’s reactions to treatments including drugs and changes in the patient’s physical or emotional condition , to the physician and RN Case Manager .
