Job Summary:
The Emergency Department LPN will work within their licensed scope to assist in providing direct and indirect patient care, including but not limited to monitoring and administering medication while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with the healthcare team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Must demonstrate expertise in the care of patients from newborn through geriatrics in the emergency setting.
• Knowledge of Critical Care and the protocol for Cardiac and Respiratory emergencies.
• Use department-specific and emergency equipment.
• Organize and prioritize care in order to allow room for emergencies.
