TEKsystems is seeking a logistics specialist to join our clients team ONSITE in the Des Moines area.
Daily Duties:

+ Making outbound calls, tracking and tracing loads, calling receiving locations to confirm the hours of operation, and setting appointments

+ Must be open to picking up the phone

+ Will assist with data entry, emailing, and will working closely with team members on the Operations side.

+ Assist with processing and building out loads in the system

+ Calling shippers and (primarily) receivers to confirm hours of operations and set appointments when required (noting load with specifics)

+ Inputting pertinent notes into loads that will be visible on carriers' load confirmations.

+ Tracking and tracing loads

+ Scheduling appts in our TMS dock scheduling tool

Customer service experience - 1+ years
