Summary This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command. Responsibilities As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST at the GS-0346-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Plans and executes joint and combined command post and field training exercises to train USTRANSCOM staff and components in assigned missions, and plan/coordinate USTRANSCOM support for external exercise requirements. Ensures training requirements and exercise objectives are applied to all exercise scenarios, including those that are partnered with other Combatant Commands and external agencies. Develops and revises policy and guidance pertaining to the USTRANSCOM Joint Training Program. Establishes, maintains, and executes the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) for USTRANSCOM-sponsored exercises and supports JELC activities of linked and supported exercises of external agencies.
