The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a logistics management specialist in support of Common Aviation Support Equipment (CAvSE) acquisition phases of assigned systems, programs, or major equipment. Responsibilities Working with the senior specialists and/or project/program manager for CvSE or a specific weapons system, subsystem, or program, analyzes installation and MAJCOM planning and programming documents to determine the nature and scope of CAvSE acquisition efforts. Working with the manager for a specific CAvSE program, participates in the development and coordination of assessment criteria, indicators and procedures for measuring system/equipment performance, and sustainment effectiveness on a continuing basis, and for major decision points in the lifecycle of systems/equipment.
