Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in keeping manufacturing plants and distribution centers running by arranging inbound transportation from contracted suppliers for raw materials, parts, and items used to build finished goods across multiple business lines. This role is heavily focused on email‑based communication, customer service , and problem solving , working cross ‑ functionally with Procurement , Suppliers , Carriers , and Internal Operations to ensure materials arrive on time and production stays on schedule.
Key Responsibilities

+ Transportation Planning — Execute transportation planning cycles three times daily to secure carrier capacity and prevent production delays.

+ Supplier Coordination — Arrange inbound transportation from contracted suppliers into manufacturing facilities and distribution centers.
