Logistics/Porter

The Logistics/Porter works within BT's newer buildings and is responsible for managing the flow of goods and items into, around, and out of the building on behalf of the FM team. Responsibilities include controlling the loading bay booking system, waste management, and supporting back‑of‑house teams and events.

Key responsibilities

• Move plants, equipment, furniture, deliveries, and materials around the site efficiently as required by facilities workstreams.
• Support planning of events logistics including loading and unloading equipment and moving them to the correct space, and signing in event contractors.
• Support the launch, use and training of the loading bay management system.
• Be responsible for all traffic management internally and externally, loading bay cleanliness, and reporting and managing equipment issues or breakdowns.
