Job Description
The QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax is looking for a locum Medical Oncologist starting July 2026, offering full-time hours and a focus on oncology care.
This position, part of the Division of Medical Oncology at Dalhousie University and Nova Scotia Health, invites candidates with FRCPC or equivalent in Internal Medicine. Engage in collaborative educational and research activities, contributing to the cancer care continuum across mainland Nova Scotia and enhancing your professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide systemic oncology treatment to patients
• Collaborate with colleagues in research
• Participate in educational initiatives within the department
• Support patient care processes effectively
• Engage in quality improvement efforts
Requirements:
• Certification as FRCPC in Internal Medicine
• Medical Oncology subspecialty certification
• Specialty licensure eligibility in Nova Scotia
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
