This is a full–time post for a band 5 biomedical scientist in the molecular diagnostic department, within Berkshire & Surrey Pathology Services. The position is within a laboratory environment and the post-holder will be expected to participate in the performance of complex practical processes within the department to ensure a high quality service is delivered in timely manner to all service users. All practices will be performed at a level that enables the department to maintain UKAS accreditation to ISO 15189.

The post holder will also be expected to understand and provide support in the maintenance of the quality management system.
