Lifeline Emergency Medical Tech - EMT - Transport Tech
Full time - 36 hours - Rotating Shift.
The EMT Transport Technician provides input into the care of the acute patient, anticipates and assists in stabilization, and maintenance of current therapeutic modalities. Functions under the rules, regulations and protocols of Maryland's Emergency Medical Services System as an EMT-Basic, during out-of-hospital patient transport by ambulance, medical campus emergency responses, and during medical standby events.
Education/Experience:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Successful completion of an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)- Basic Program
* Knowledge of setting up and management of specialized patient care equipment utilized during medical transport process.
* Required minimum of one year's experience as a full-time BLS provider within last two years and preferred two years of EMS or hospital experience.
