Description

As a Lifeguard, you will provide rescue and lifesaving services, teach water safety and swim instruction to children and adolescents in program during the summer months, and help maintain our pools for optimal health and safety. You will report to the Director of Therapeutic Recreation and you will work onsite.

Responsibilities:


+ Monitor and maintain order in the swimming pool area to prevent accidents

+ Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning, administering first aid

+ Inspect the swimming facilities at the beginning and end of each shift for cleanliness; monitor and record the chlorine content and pH level of the water

+ Provide students with ongoing swimming instruction based on ability level
