About the Role

The LATAM region requires a manager to lead the delivery of tax compliance (direct and indirect) and support the delivery of statutory accounts across LATAM. The role includes leading a team of seven individuals responsible for tax returns and statutory accounts for Brazil. Outside of Brazil, the function operates an outsourced model whereby an external provider delivers the tax returns and statutory accounts. The role also includes implementation of changes required due to Brazil Tax Reform.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all tax returns and statutory accounts across LATAM are accurate and submitted on time, and that tax payments are made within the relevant timeframes.
• Identify ways to strengthen tax compliance processes to eliminate financial and reputational risk, and oversee implementation of such process improvements.
• Monitor tax legislation to ensure processes are kept up to date for any changes in tax law.
