Licensed Vocational Nurse HHP

The Licensed Vocational Nurse supports the physician and nursing staff in the delivery of healthcare by performing patient care assessments, and a variety of medically related tasks. The LVN is a licensed nurse who works in an ambulatory care setting to perform and provide nursing services within the scope of practice.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Diploma from accredited Vocational/Technical LVN program required.

Experience/Training: 1 year LVN experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications: Required: Current unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license issued by State of California Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association Preferred: Current Intravenous Therapy & Blood Withdrawal Certificate issued by California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT)
