Job Description
**BluePearl Pet Hospital in Queens, NY is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our daytime Emergency team.**
**Schedule:** Open to Thurs-Sat (3x12) OR Thurs-Fri (2x12) schedule
**Base Pay:** $28.00 - $51.00 / hour + shift differentials
**_Pay is based on experience and progression through our competency assessment program_** **_._**
In addition to base pay, we offer **competitive shift differentials** for eligible evening, overnight, and weekend hours (4-hour minimum):
+ Mon–Fri | 6 PM–8 AM: **+ $4.50/hr**
+ Sat–Sun | 8 AM–6 PM: **+ $4.50/hr**
+ Sat–Sun | 6 PM–8 AM: **+** **$8.00/hr**
**As an Emergency Veterinary Technician, you will:**
+ Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients and use anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
+ Triage emergency cases as they arrive at the hospital including obtaining vitals such as temperature heart rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure.
