LPN Position

S:US is seeking an LPN for their adult family shelter in Manhattan.

Scope of Role: Diagnosis and management of acute, chronic and complex health problems; assessing, diagnosing and treating illnesses, educating the shelter clients and staff on disease prevention. Provide health education and counseling to individuals residing in the shelter.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Meets with Program Director, Director of Social Services, Psychiatrist, Program Nurses, and Social Service staff to coordinate shelter residents to receive ongoing treatment in the community. Supervise Medication Coordinator and assist Psychiatrist and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner as needed. Administer medications and document administration as required.
