UPMC Jameson is seeking a FullTime Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the 2200 Acute Care Unit. This is a 24bed MedicalSurgical unit specializing in Neurology and Pulmonary care, offering an excellent opportunity to grow clinical skills in a supportive team environment.
Schedule:
This position follows a rotating schedule, with 50% offshifts, and includes every other weekend and every other holiday.
The LPN provides patientcentered nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or licensed provider, in accordance with UPMC policies, LPN Practice Guidelines, and State Board regulations. Responsibilities include focused patient assessments, IV therapy within scope, care planning, documentation, and patient and family education.
