Overview
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will be responsible for providing counseling services to students of Touro College of Dental Medicine onsite at the Albuquerque, New Mexico clinic and is responsible for assisting the Assistant Director of Student Affairs in any student-related issues.
Responsibilities
+ Provides short-term psychotherapy and crisis management to address the mental health needs of a diverse student community.
+ Provides a network of mental health referrals in the Albuquerque community to serve our students with long-term treatment needs.
+ Develops outreach targeted to at-risk student groups.
+ Educates and collaborates with other departments in identifying and referring students of concern.
+ Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to identify and respond to student needs, promote mental health, and ensure coordinated care.
