The primary purpose of this position is: To provide professional library and information services for mission support, academic programs, and quality of life initiatives. Responsibilities Provides reference and research assistance to library customer. Performs original or modified descriptive cataloging in machine-readable cataloging format where the bibliographic characteristics are relatively easy to determine and cataloging decisions are made within standards such as the current Anglo-American Cataloging Rules (AACR2) and by comparison to the local database or authority file.
