Job Description
This position is an exciting opportunity for someone who is experienced across both design and production to play a key role in the full life cycle of marine engineering, involved with the engineering works of multiple ships.
The Liaison Engineer will be responsible for bridging the gap between design & production/manufacturing, ensuring that design work is carried out correctly when put into practice, and any issues/changes during production are correctly adjusted by the design office. You'll be dealing with lots of different people from across the engineering life cycle, so personal skills are important.
Ideally you'll have knowledge of piping alongside a mechanical fabrication background of being on the ground in a production environement. Any shipbuilding/marine experience would be preferred as you'll find it easier to hit the ground running. A knowledge of mainstream CAD software(s) would also make it easier to step into this role.
