The Lecturer plays a central role in delivering high quality, discipline specific education in Taxation and Accounting within a distance learning environment. The incumbent is responsible for teaching, assessment, academic support, and the continuous improvement of learning material in alignment with institutional academic standards and national regulatory frameworks.

The role requires the design, development, and facilitation of learning material appropriate for NQF Level 5,6 and 7, ensuring that content reflects current South African tax legislation, accounting standards, and sound academic design suitable for distance learning students.

The Lecturer contributes to academic quality assurance processes, assessment integrity, curriculum development, and student success while fostering academic integrity and professional excellence.
