Position Summary:
The Department of Economics & Finance in the School of Business and Entrepreneurship at North Central College invites applications for a full-time lecturer position in economics and statistics to begin August 1, 2026.
The duties in this role include:
+ Provide excellent instruction in a variety of undergraduate introductory economics and business statistics courses, carrying a teaching load of 24 credits per academic year. Other courses may be assigned depending on the candidateโs qualifications and experience.
+ Assess studentsโ work and provide detailed feedback on how to improve their content knowledge, critical thinking skills, oral and written communication skills, etc.
+ Mentor undergraduate students through one-on-one and group interactions and independent study opportunities.
+ Attend conferences and workshops as necessary to remain active in the field(s) of study and qualifications for AACSB accreditation; ...
