The Department Design Lead is responsible for resource assignment of designers in CSA, coordinating designer staffing requirements with discipline engineering leads. The Design Lead contributes to department performance evaluations, training plans, and develops discipline‑specific work processes to support projects and programs. Responsibilities

Plan, allocate, and review work programs; update ForecastWeb weekly to align with Project/Program Manager demand. Prepare weekly progress reports for each project, detailing work completed and planned for the following week. Update project schedules weekly, marking task status and potential delays, ensuring accurate scheduling with Project Management. Define scopes of work, man‑hour estimates, schedules, and priorities for projects and proposals. Solve scheduling and expedite department work.
