Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical department including Technical Coordinators and Draughtsmen across multiple projects
- Establish and control the workflow for shop drawing preparation, review, submission and approvals
- Oversee review of IFC drawings, specifications and design documents to ensure constructability and coordination
- Identify deviations, deficiencies and discrepancies in IFC drawings and report to Technical Manager
- Drive development of coordinated shop drawings across civil, structural and MEP disciplines
- Define and implement technical coordination strategies to avoid clashes and rework at site
- Act as the primary technical interface with consultants to resolve design issues, discrepancies and approvals
- Review and approve all shop drawings prior to submission to ensure quality and compliance
