Job Summary
The Secondary Engineering – Protection & Substation Automation Engineer is responsible for complete engineering activities related to Protection Systems and Substation Automation Systems (SAS). The role includes design, setting calculations, parameterization, vendor coordination, training, and commissioning support to ensure reliable and compliant substation operation.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the entire engineering of Protection & Substation Automation Systems for HV/EHV substations.
Preparation and review of protection schemes including line, transformer, busbar, feeder, reactor, and capacitor bank protection.
Performing protection relay setting calculations and coordination studies.
Configuration and parameterization of Substation Automation Systems including IEDs, HMIs, gateways, and communication protocols (IEC 61850, Modbus, etc.).
