Job Description
**Must reside within Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA.**
**Schedule will be 8am-5pm and consist of 1 weekend day.**
**Position Purpose:**
The Lead Rental Technician (LRT) is a skilled technician, adept at performing a full range of equipment repairs on light construction equipment (skid steers, chippers, trenchers, mini-excavators, etc.) in a group of The Home Depot stores or customer job sites in the vicinity. This position reports directly to the next-level manager for their region.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ 10% Communication - Communicates clearly with teammates including store associates, technicians, and customers in both verbal and written communications. Uses active listening in understanding message content and point of view in order to fully understand the mechanical problems being reported; Provides expert knowledge to all Rental associates in the proper operation of the equipment and standard operating procedures; Supports rental c...
