Job Description
- Deliver mechanical design packages: calculations, reports, specifications, drawing inputs
- Design and review equipment and systems for mining and heavy industrial environments
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, client specifications and statutory requirements
- Coordinate interfaces across SMP, Structural, Electrical and Design/Drafting teams
- Conduct design reviews, checking and verification prior to issue
- Provide construction support: RFIs, site queries and design clarifications
- Identify risks early and drive practical, constructable solution
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, recognised by Engineers Australia or equivalent
- Considerable experience in a relevant mechanical engineering field
- Experience within mining, minerals processing or plant design environments
- Proven ability to lead and manage engineering professionals
