Burns & McDonnell has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join the Power global practice. This position is responsible for the design and evaluation of mechanical systems associated with coal and natural gas fired generation facilities as well as associated support facilities.
As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for front-end planning/preliminary design/code analysis; final design including bidding document and specification preparation; construction administration including review of compliance submittals and resolution of construction issues; and interfacing with Burns & McDonnell project managers, equipment suppliers, clients, other engineering disciplines, detailers, and designers. This person will perform work which involves conventional engineering practices but may involve a variety of complex features.
