**Job Description Summary**
The Lead Manufacturing Engineer serves as the hardware expert and go-to source for technical information related to component repair hardware; this expertise is leveraged to support the shop floor Machinists and Inspectors, as well as Customer Service Managers (on behalf of customers) and even Fleet, Repair, and Design Engineers associated with their respective parts. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

+ Each ME owns specific parts from the Structures Business’ portfolio and is responsible for supporting production flow as parts fall out of the standard processes or deviate from the Engine Service Manual allowances; a ME will accomplish this by dispositioning the hardware back into processing via a rework loop or by a Departure Record (DR) that has been app...
