Job Description
Job Summary:
- This position reports to the Plant Engineer, all engineering functions roll up to this manager.
- Prepares permits and collects permit data associated with mining which include but are not limited to: Title V Air Permit, Industrial Wastewater Permits (NPDES) and Stormwater Permits.
- Must develop relationships and develop support of plant staff which are integral to environmental compliance and special projects for air and wastewater quality, storm water management, greenhouse gas emissions, and environmental audits.
- Respond to emergency situations such as spills and accidental discharges, calling for coordinating services of emergency, fire, and spill response teams (must be on-call at all times).
- Will work in conjunction with various departments to find out about their future production plans and any changes they may decide.
