Lead Electrical Engineer

The Lead Electrical Engineer is accountable for the management of project electrical interfaces with clients, designers, suppliers and constructors of Goldwind Africa’s projects.

Job Duties Exploit and manage electrical BOP partners for wind farms, including design houses, electrical construction subcontractors, main electrical component suppliers, etc. Manage project electrical proposal process, BOQ preparation and cost estimation, assist with bidding submissions under EPC scope for wind farms in South Africa and other African countries. Clarify and negotiate with client or contractor about scope of work and specifications, identify changes and associated cost. Develop and implement engineering systems, tools, documents and procedures for Goldwind Africa.
