Most data leadership roles sit at one end of the spectrum. Either highly technical, buried in models and architecture, or heavily stakeholder‑focused with little involvement in the actual delivery.

This role sits in the middle (or both). They need your skills in a client and stakeholder facing, upwards and downwards management and technical understanding.

You'll lead a growing Data science function responsible for delivering real‑world AI, machine learning and data science solutions across a complex professional services environment. The challenge is not simply building models. It's understanding business problems, translating them into practical solutions, and helping senior stakeholders understand exactly how technology can create value.
