Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Legal work

  • Legal research and writing: Analyzing laws, regulations, and case law to produce legal memos, briefs, contracts, motions, and articles.
  • Document review and drafting: Assisting with discovery and litigation by reviewing and drafting a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Specialized projects: Handling projects that require specific expertise, such as complex litigation support, contract review, compliance advice, or intellectual property matters.
  • Court appearances: Acting as appearance counsel to attend hearings on behalf of another lawyer (requires licensure in the relevant jurisdiction).
