Summary The position is in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), VISN 2, Textile Care Facility at the VA New York Harbor Health Care System in the Environmental Management Service (EMS). The primary purpose of the position is to have incumbent supervise the activities of the Laundry Workers and Laundry Machine Operators that are engaged in the Textile Care services of the hospital. Responsibilities Typical work direction duties include but not limited to: 1. Assign, direct, evaluate subordinate work performance and review the work of Laundry Workers via verbal or written communication. 2. Plan, schedule, and coordinate work operations such as but not limited to: cleaning and loading laundry. 3.
