United Way and the Province partner to bring renowned 211 service to PEI
The United Way of PEI announced on February 11th, 211 Day, that the renowned β211β service is coming this fall to PEI as a Thriving Together Poverty Reduction Action Plan initiative. 211βs award-winning telephone helpline (2-1-1) and website provide a gateway to community, social, non-clinical health, and related government services, helping those in need navigate the overwhelming, complex network of available human services quickly and easily, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. βFaced with a complex maze of phone books, help lines, directories, and voice mail systems, people often donβt know where to turn.
