Forestry, Agriculture and Lands - Government of Newfoundland and Labrador

The Board has approved a short-term, one-time, non-pensionable annual market adjustment of $20,000 for the Regional Veterinarian and Veterinarian (Poultry) classifications within the Department of Forestry, Agriculture and Lands.

This adjustment is effective February 17, 2026, and will remain in place until the earlier of:

- the conclusion of a new Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE) General Services Collective Agreement, or

- February 16, 2028

These positions provide large animal ambulatory veterinary service to 11 progressive dairy farms in western Newfoundland and the growing livestock sectors in western Newfoundland and Labrador.
