Job Purpose

The Associate Consultant will form part of the Land team’s senior management and support a rapidly growing team of environmental professionals primarily focused on the delivery of projects associated with mining, industrial, oil & gas, infrastructure and waste sectors, covering contaminated land assessment, environmental liability management and remediation projects. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated senior professional with excellent technical, management, client service, business development, and people skills and a proven track record of working on land quality and remediation projects. They must communicate confidently and effectively with clients, colleagues, regulators, and sub-contractors. A sound knowledge of risk‑based approaches to sustainable environmental management and relevant South African contaminated land and waste legislation is critical.
