**Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position**
Responsible for all lactation related services, programs and education and services as a resource for lactation counseling and support to the community. Assists in the provision of care to patients of all age groups.

+ Conducts educational programs, education, and services for lactation counseling and support to the community and patients/families.
+ Responds timely to inquiries for requested program, education, and services for the community.
+ Assists in creation of resource materials to be used for programs, education, and services for lactation counseling and support to the community and patients/families.
