Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Lactation Consultant for our Mother Baby Unit who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Lactation Consultant, you will:
• Role model positive customer service behaviors through the consistent application & deployment of AHC’s Values and Mission principles and holds self & others accountable.
• Perform assessment of the mother-baby couplet identifying possible conditions or difficulties based on history, interview, and assessment.
• Uses critical thinking skills to develop an individualized plan of care for the patient/family.
