Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

:
  • Assist in unloading trucks and gathering necessary tools and equipment for the day’s work.

  • Transport rakes, lutes, shovels, and spray cans to the paver or designated work area.

  • Sweep and clean the area in front of the paver, ensuring a clear and debris-free surface.

  • Measure and mark out the designated area for paving, ensuring accurate and proper alignment.

  • Occasionally act as a flagger to direct motorists away from the work zone, ensuring safety and traffic control.

  • Perform shoveling tasks as required, including the movement and distribution of materials.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment, ensuring they are properly stored at the end of the day.

  • Tamp and compact asphalt edges to ensure proper adhesion and stability.

  • Clean up the work site by removing any debris or rubbish generated during the paving process....
