Laboratory Technologist

Status: Regular Full Time

Department: Core Lab (Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine)

Program: Laboratory Services

Location: Lakeridge Health Port Perry & Oshawa

Wage: $36.84 - $50.24 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized test procedures in Chemistry, Hematology and Blood Bank
• Organize workflow to maintain performance standards of quantity and quality
• Observe, troubleshoot and report problems with methods, equipment, etc. to supervisor
• Ensure cleanliness of equipment and work area
• Follow established safety and infection control procedures
• Participate in student/staff training programs, as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
