Job Description
**Overview**
Element has an opportunity for a **Laboratory Technician I** to join our growing team in Fort Wayne, IN. As a member of the Organics department at our Environmental Testing Laboratory in Fort Wayne, IN, the Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine assignments within the department to ensure timely and accurate testing is performed. The technician must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance with established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures. In addition to these requirements, the technician will:

+ Preserve, prepare, extract, and concentrate samples to be analyzed by the organics department
+ Routinely work with client samples, laboratory instruments, chemicals, and reagents
+ Perform tests as directed by internal standard operating procedures, published methods, and laboratory accre...
