Laboratory Technician - Biochemistry (Temporary)


Job Description

Objective

Temporary Laboratory Technicians are responsible for assisting Laboratory Technicians perform routine laboratory and general clerical tasks, necessary for daily operations of the laboratory and during student lab sessions. The Temporary Laboratory Technician will work closely in supporting the Laboratory Technicians and Demonstrations, while adhering to the safety rules and abiding by the guidelines stipulated in the Safety Manual of the Biochemistry Laboratory.

This is a temporary position for the period 17thAugust to 4thDecember, 2026

Essential Functions

+ Collect, prepare, clean and store glassware and other lab equipment

+ Set up laboratory equipment

+ Assist in supervising student experiments and procedures
