Cytotechnologist for anatomic pathology laboratory. Oncology based facility but will be running diagnostics for all kinds of patients, not just cancer. Patient population is mainly adults/geriatrics. No float/call/weekends are required, but if there are delayed procedures, they are required to stay (rare, but possible).

Days, M-F 8:30a-5p, 3 yrs experience REQUIRED, 5 years PREFERRED. EPIC documentation, navy blue or dark grey scrubs not provided by unit. 24 hours of unit orientation.

Certifications REQUIRED: ASCP CT - CA License must be in hand at time on submittal.

Skills/experience REQUIRED: ROSE for Thyroid FNAs. EBUS & EUS, Inpatient lab
Outpatient Lab, Ultrasound, Ascitic Fluid, Esophageal, Gastric, Spinal, Bronchial, Urine, Assist, Collection, Make smears, Preliminary Diagnosis, Staining, Assist with On-site procedures, Specimen labeling/identification, OR settings.

Skills/experience PREFERRED: ThinPrep, Client, PAP,
