Overview


New York Medical College (NYMC) is seeking a Laboratory Assistant for the Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy in the Kwak laboratory. We are looking for candidates with strong interest in RNA biology and genetics. Supervised by the Principal Investigator (Pl), the ideal candidate will assist in conducting experiments and analyzing/interpreting data. The candidate will assist in obtaining quotes, purchasing laboratory supplies, and maintaining reagent stocks. They will assist research related tasks including RNA sequencing methods, cell/tissue assays, and other duties as assigned.


Responsibilities


+ Research: Under general supervision provide technical support and carry out experiments in a molecular biology laboratory. Provide lab support by performing a broad range of research related tasks.
