Budget Title: Instructional Support Assistant (SL-1)
Salary: $45,372 (one year, temporary)
The Abi-Ghanem Lab, located at Binghamton University, is seeking a Lab Assistant to participate in conducting behavioral, histological and molecular experiments probing oligodendrocyte and myelin in development, aging and neurological disease mouse models. Research will use mice to model neuronal development. Our studies utilize a variety of approaches, including transgenic animals, slice cultures, gene manipulation (AAVs), cognitive behavioral testing, molecular biology, immunofluorescent labeling, rodent models of multiple sclerosis, alcohol use disorder, vascular dementia, multi-etiology dementia, and Alzheimer's disease.
