**Role Overview:**
**The Catalyst R&D Laboratory Technician will support a team of research scientists within the Catalyst R&D Group by synthesizing catalysts and generating critical characterization data. This data is essential for the development and evaluation of novel polyolefin catalysts utilized in the Packaging & Specialty Plastics business.**

**Responsibilities:**


+ Operate and maintain the catalyst analytical laboratory and fluidized bed reactor (after training), supporting catalyst development projects for plastics applications.
+ Utilize analytical instruments such as gas chromatography, elemental titration systems, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), and perform sample preparation for gas chromatography.
+ Handle air- and moisture-sensitive catalyst samples and chemicals using a nitrogen glovebox for proper storage and manipulation.
